Grief, trauma, and loss are emotional experiences that we go through the cycle of life. We all have a specific way of coping while grieving. The support and understanding through a natural healing process help individuals recover in a healthy manner. While time may assist in this process, exploring ways to deal with the pain, tears, and loneliness in a supportive environment is essential for all humans.
How do we handle it?
At the Atlanta Treatment Center counselors are trained in handling grief, trauma, and loss in a caring way. As survivors of traumatic experiences, our counselors bring their own life challenges to encourage resiliency and lead by example.
